the making center
I was hired as the Director of the Making Center in 2014.
I led the efforts of a diverse and incredibly talented team to bring together approximately 60,000 sq ft of existing facilities and resources at Parsons School of Design with a new 16,000 sq ft making center being designed by Rice Lipka Architects.
It was a 3 year endeavor that changed Parsons dramatically. I oversaw the design and build of the site resources.parsons.edu during this period as well. It gives an overview of what is now available to students and faculty.
It is still a project/design in process- with new directors and a full time staff of 40 and around 200 student workers. I am very proud of the work that everyone did during my 3 years leading this effort. Below are some images I took during my time as Director.

Some of the excellent staff I worked with during this period- a fantastic group of people.
